Disappointed in this Marriott hotel. We only stay at Marriotts and this one doesn’t meet our standards. While it has a pretty lobby, and nice drapes in the room, that doesn’t equal a satisfactory stay. It’s definitely not kid friendly. We checked in at 5pm and within the hour, the front desk was calling to tell us that our 2 year old was making too much noise for for the guests below. So we spent the remainder of our evening corralling the baby so he wouldn’t make too much noise. Maybe your floors should’ve been built better.
Building is either new or recently renovated at the time of this review 12/10/17. TownPlace Suites gives you a big fridge and a two burner stove which is nice. Breakfast is typical Marriott, so 1 egg item, 1 meat item, self made waffles, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, etc. Always free coffee and tea available. I had a spinach salad for dinner one night that was actually quite good. Wish the guy serving it wasn't so grumpy. Give yourself extra time if going to the airport, there's a drawbridge that can really ruin a morning commute.
Let me say first that I was travelling for business so I was not looking for a 5 stars resort. Here the rooms are clean, breakfast is included in the rate and everything would be excellent except for one thing: the walls are probably 1/2'' thick. You can really hear everything inside the hotel, from the person making noise one floor above to the guy talking in the other room to the traffic of the street. Not too bad for me because I was super tired after an international flight but for those of you who are sensitive to noise.... not recommended! Oh, the rate was really good though...
Great hotel. Lobby is very vibrant and busy. Rooms are plush and comfy! This room had a full kitchenette in It! Stove, dishes, dishwasher and of course the fridge and microwave. Wonderful couch that was clean and comfy! You can really feel at home here! Love this hotel!
The pull out sofa bed was atrocious. One side was padded and the other dipped down to the springs. We will find other arrangements on our next trip to Boston.
Convenient to Boston and Logan Airport. Shuttle to Logan starts at 4am. Self help hot and cold breakfast is very satisfying. No charge for self parking. Very pleasant decor and rooms. Good exercise facility.
The pool is tiny and our silverware was put away still dirty.
